How I collected over 200 dance supplies...

I turned to my dance studio--Acton School of Ballet--as the main source of collection. I formulated a letter that was sent to all the ASB families explaining my senior project, talking about my plans, and asking for their donations. In the end this was the giant suitcase we packed and stuffed with all the supplies. When we were checking the bag in at the airport it ended up being 62 lbs yikes. For a month I collected an assortment of supplies and kept an itinerary of what was collected/colors/sizes etc so I could send to the studio to see what they needed/wanted. I contacted many people outside of the dance school like family & friends who also graciously donated things.
